ABOUT US
Founded in 2016, Jogja Good Guide is a walking tour & travel provider based in Yogyakarta, offering experiences focused on stories, history, culture, and local life.
We are a team of local guides with strong knowledge of Yogyakarta and hands-on experience guiding both domestic and international travelers.
We design story-driven tours, where every street, neighborhood, and public space has meaning and context. Through the Pay-As-You-Wish concept, we promote an inclusive and sustainable tourism.
Jogja Good Guide is part of the national walking tour network under PT Jakarta Gelora Gembira, which operates walking tours in several cities across Indonesia.

Everything You Need to Know
Registration is free. At the end of the tour, you’re welcome to give an appreciation to your guide through our Pay-As-You-Wish system. There’s no minimum or maximum amount.
Our regular walking tour schedule is released every Sunday for the following week. Follow @joggoodguide on Instagram for the latest schedule and tour announcements.
Your meeting point details will be sent by email in your official confirmation from Jogja Good Guide, usually no later than the evening before your tour.
Most walking tours take around 1.5–2 hours, with a relaxed pace and plenty of stops along the way.
Our regular tours generally cover around 3–5 km at a relaxed pace, with stops for stories, photos, and exploring along the way.
Absolutely! Solo travelers are welcome. A walking tour is also a great way to meet fellow travelers and explore Yogyakarta together.
Our tours generally continue in light or normal rain, so please bring an umbrella or rain jacket. Tours may be cancelled in situations such as extreme storms or major flooding.
Yes. Private tours are available for families, groups, companies, and other special occasions. Contact our admin team via WhatsApp to discuss your needs.
